Cincinnati Community High School

Breaking the cycle of poverty, illiteracy, and incarceration in Cincinnati.

Serving Kids Who Need It Most

CCHS empowers underserved inner-city youth through competitive sports, mentorship, and teamwork—building a strong foundation for academic, career, and personal success.  We envision a future where every student—regardless of their past—has the skills, confidence, and support to thrive. Through small classes, career training, and a culture of high expectations, we break barriers and build futures.

Smaller Classes

Each class will have less than 18 students per teacher for more 1-1 time and quality peer interaction.

Competitive Sports

At CCHS, all students will participate in a sport to foster discipline, teamwork, and a sense of community. The mentorship from our coaches and the motivation to remain academically eligible will encourage students to attend school regularly.

Year-Round Cohorts

Teachers will stay with the same cohort of students each year, including programs during the summertime.

Vocational Training

Students will have the opportunity to study IT/Cyber Security, and Trades with our vocational partners.

"I want to instill hope, confidence, and empowerment to let students know that all things are possible even in this current state of the world where society often believes there are low or no expectations for black males."

Mark Ferguson, Student-Parent Liason

Our Plan

1

State Approval

We are working with an academic Sponsor to become compliant and approved to open.

2

Fundraise

We are currently in the fundraising process, finding the right partners and organizations to get the school off the ground.

3

Launch

We're on track to start our first class in August 2026. With your help, we'll be able to launch open our new facility next year.

Help Our Students Today

Your contribution goes directly to helping Cincinnati's least served students.
